  • Postdoctoral Position in Organizational Modeling - The Computer, Computational, and Statistical Sciences Division of the Los Alamos National Laboratory is seeking postdoctoral candidates to assist in a project aimed at investigating the use of knowledge representations and semantic interoperability technologies within organizations with hybrid structures. Emphasis will be placed on representing the formal and logical properties of such systems. Requirements are a PhD in Computer Science or appropriate similar field, earned or soon to be earned; research background in knowledge representation and/or social or agent modeling; and the ability to obtain a DOE "Q" clearance, which normally requires U.S. citizenship. LANL postdoctoral positions are superb opportunities for research and career advancement, generally paying over $70K/yr, with full benefits. This position is funded to provide freedom to pursue independent research in the problem area for a period of two years. Contact Cliff Joslyn, 505-667-9096.
  • Marco Camesasca, PhD candidate Case Prime Fellow - I am a PhD candidate seeking a postdoctoral position. I am interested in general aspects of complex systems having worked on chaotic fluidic systems, behavior of advected particles, generation of fractal patterns and correlation between configurational entropy and generalized dimensions.
